FINALIZING THE PURCHASE OF A POCKET LEOPARDS BENGAL
Once you are approved to buy a kitten, you send in the down payment to hold the kitten and we mark the kitten as sold and take it off of the market. We will require payment for the kitten in full before the kitten leaves Pocket Leopards (or by scheduled spay/neuter appointment date, if applicable).
If you are late in making the final payment, we will hold the kitten for you for up to 30 days (we MUST hear from you and make arrangements for this, and you will be charged boarding fees. If we do not hear from you when it's time to make the final payment or if you fail to make final payment when promised, we will consider it a wavier of your down payment amount and we will place kitten back on the market immediately). If you still do not pay for the kitten in full (plus shipping if your kitten is being shipped) we will put the kitten back on the market and you lose your down payment.
NOTE: The down payment is non-refundable, especially once you choose the kitten and we take it off of the market. The reason is because we agree to not sell the kitten to anyone else and should you change your mind the kitten will become harder to place the older it gets.
All kittens are ready to go home at 10 to 14 weeks of age, after it has been spayed and neutered. We will not release a kitten before it is old enough physically, mentally and socially. When your kitten is of age to go home with you, you will need to pay the balance of the kitten via cash or money order. For pickups, we only accept CASH. No checks will be accepted for final payment unless the check is sent at least 10 working days in advance and has had a chance to clear. Paypal is NEVER accepted for final payment.
If your cat is shipping, you will need to pay for final payment and shipping in advance of the cat shipping out. If we underestimate you shipping price, you will be required to make up the difference before your registration paperwork is sent to you.
If you are picking up the cat, please bring a suitable carrier with you. If you do not have a carrier with you, we may refuse to send the kitten home with you until you have a suitable carrier and we will charge you boarding fees for the time the cat is here waiting for pickup. We try to have carriers on hand to sell to you, but you should not count on it.
At the time of pickup, or before shipping, you will be required to fill out a purchase agreement/contract (if you have not already done so) which also serves as your health guarantee. Please take all the time you need to read over the contract and please feel free to ask any questions you may have about the contract. If you do not agree with the contract, please do not purchase a cat from us. We expect all buyers to agree with and abide by the terms of the contract, weather you think the terms are fair or not. Remember it is a legally binding document for both you and us. If at any time before purchase you want to look over the contact, please contact us and we will send you a copy of it.
